Foodie Pen Pal Reveal - UPDATE

I love foodie pen pals... it makes getting the mail so much fun

I was paired up with Kerri - she is posting on my blog and here is her review below...

My first foodie pen pal experience was wonderful! Denise really took into consideration  my likes, dislikes, and interests. I like to try new foods and was open to anything interesting she found. I mentioned that I enjoy spicy things too. When the package arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find a box filled with foods that I had never tasted before! The “world’s best granola” (according to Denise) did not disappoint. It is so light, crispy, and tasty, it’s a real treat. The chilli infused Lindt chocolate lasted all of two days, it was amazing (while it lasted)!!! The organic pumpkin seed butter was a great find. I’ve eaten substituted it in place of peanut butter (sometimes just eating bites with a spoon), half of the jar is gone and I will definitely be looking to replace it once it’s finished. The teriyaki seaweed snack chips fit the interesting theme well.

Lastly, but not least, the mumm’s sprouting seeds were a lovely idea. the spicy lentil blend was a perfect choice and I couldn’t wait for my first batch to sprout. In a few days I had a delicious avocado, feta, and sprouts tortilla. I’m on my second batch now and they’re just so tasty! Thank you so much Denise, for all of your thoughtful food choices I’m very happy to have had you as my first foodie pen pal!!!

I'm so happy to here that she liked it!  Thanks for your kind words Kerri

Here's what my parcel looked like this month

My pen pal was Jamie from Inspire Fitness and Wellness

She sent me the funnest parcel this month!  It was definately the favourite for my children as well.

Here's what was inside.....

So many wonderful treats....

the Real Fruit gummies and Pocky yogurt covered biscuit sticks disappeared pretty quickly in my house thanks to some help from my daughters.

I hid the dark chocolate covered pomegranates (I did share - a bit).  These were so good, I've been looking at them for months but didn't trust myself around that much chocolate.

The Luna bar was also amazing - it was chocolate peppermint and delicous, I inhaled it after spin class this week.

I also really enjoyed the granola... my typical granola combo.

I didn't know A.C.E. bakery made granola, but now I do!  This granola isn't as crunchy as some, but it is very hearty and I love the whole roasted almonds.

Thanks again Jamie!
